Team Japan will join the Global Skills Challenge 2024!
From May 21 to May 27, in Melbourne,
14 participants from Japan will compete in 13 skills categories,
challenging competitors from 19 countries and regions around the world.
Additionally, we will showcase our bid for the WSC2028
through the exchange of pins and by making linkage
among the participating competitors.

this event features eight competitors from Japan
participating in contests across seven skills categories,
competing against participants from 10 countries and regions around the world.
Additionally, through pin trading and making linkage among the competitors,
we will also promote our bid for the WSC2028.

A validation visit was conducted by WSI!
From March 3 to 7, 2024,
WorldSkills International (WSI)—the organization
that manages the WorldSkills competitions—visited Japan
to verify whether the country and candidate cities meet the hosting criteria for the event.
Based on the results of this visit, WSI member countries and regions
will vote to determine the host city for the 2028 WorldSkills Competition
at the WSI General Assembly, held in September 2024.

YUJI Ryuya, who won the Medallion for Excellence at the 45th WSC held in Kazan in the Russian Federation in Aug 2019, demonstrated a skills of four-color offset printing!
WorldSkillsKazan2019 was held
22 to 27 August, WorldSkillsKazan2019 was held. 1,348 champions from 62 countries / regions including Japan participated in 56 skills competitions. 48 Japanese champions participated in 42 skills.
